Most people wind up sharing a bed at one point or another. Maybe it’s a significant other. Maybe it’s a friend with nowhere else to crash. Maybe it’s a regrettable one-night hookup. Yikes!
However, it appears that the best one to snuggle up to is not a human but a four-legged friend.
According to a new study, the best bedfellows aren’t humans at all, but pets.
It is no secret that when sharing a bed with a spouse or partner there are things one must get used to.
Everyone sleeps differently, so it can be a challenge for a light sleeper if their partner, say, is a deep sleeper who flails all over the bed and snores super loudly.

Or, there is the person who hogs all the blankets, needs a fan on, or is completly silent.
It can be a lot to adjust to which is why sharing the bed with a dog or a cat is much more relaxing.
After all, Spot or Fluffy doesn’t need to watch the news to fall asleep or the thermostat set to 40 degrees to get a good night’s rest, right?
Lots of people share their beds with pets.
Beds are attractive to animals for the same reason they’re attractive to us: they’re soft, warm, and super comfortable. If you have a cat or a dog, chances are good they’ll try to sleep in your bed.
Who’s your ideal bedmate?
If you must share a bed, would you rather share it with a person or a pet? Even when you really love a person, sometimes it just seems like less of a hassle to share your bed with a pet.
